Our History

Allbee Green has a rich and interesting history that began in WordPerfect Corporation’s events marketing department, where Kevan Allbee and David Green managed the creative team. At WordPerfect (and later Novell), we were responsible for the messaging at literally thousands of presentations around the world: trade shows, meetings, events, keynote addresses, road show tours, sales presentations, product launches and product demonstrations. Our corporate production work included scripting, graphics, staging, logistics, and video.

While at WordPerfect, Kevan and David put their education and experience in other aspects of marketing to work: positioning, audience, messaging, identity, and measurement. And it was at WordPerfect where we learned to combine entertainment with responsible marketing practices to produce effective live events for our clients.

Allbee Green is a true pioneer in the presentation industry. While at WordPerfect, we first hooked up a projection unit to a PC and a presentation program called DrawPerfect (long before PowerPoint was even a gleam in Bill Gates’ eye.) Soon after, WordPerfect was the first company to put up a video wall at COMDEX. We also pioneered the concept of the high-tech road show, barnstorming WordPerfect into over 60 cities every summer for 4 years in a row.

In 1994, after seven years at WordPerfect, Kevan and David co-founded Allbee Green. Since that time we have been instrumental in continuing to develop and grow the face-to-face marketing and events industry. And we stay committed to improving agency processes and growing our business by growing the businesses of our clients.
